First Aid Training Courses delivered by Practicing Paramedics

Wright Medics offer First Aid Training, Emergency First Aid at Work and bespoke courses delivered by our Practicing Paramedics On-Site, or at our Worksop HQ in North Nottinghamshire.

These take the form of our:

  • 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training – This basic first aid training workshop enables the learner to give emergency first aid to a colleague, visitor or member of the public who is injured or becomes ill at work
  • 3-4 Day First Aid at work (FAW) training – This covers the EFAW syllabus but also equips the learner to apply more advanced first aid techniques to specific injuries and illnesses.

First aid training is essential because it gives you the knowledge and confidence to deliver potentially life-saving assistance in an emergency. Although many undertake training for a workplace requirement, these skills are invaluable in everyday situations and we encourage everyone to attend and benefit.

There are many benefits for employers and employees to learn first aid at Wright Medics, including:

  • Our courses are detailed and professional, and include recognised qualifications
  • We include assessments for workplace-based situations and scenarios.

We can design and deliver bespoke courses tailored to individual needs, or the specific risks identified in your Risk Assessment.

We hold first aid courses at multiple sectors, including:

  • Construction sites
  • Factories
  • Warehouses
  • Food processing companies
  • Schools (sports days)

  • Water treatment sites
  • Dance clubs
  • Offices
  • Concerts and festivals.

On-site Medical Response is your Legal Requirement

Is it a legal requirement for employers to assess their employees’ work and ensure they have an appropriate number of suitably qualified people to respond to any medical emergency.

This assessment should account for the injuries that may result from the activity and the proximity of local emergency services. Wright Medics will assist employers and employees with this assessment.

Whatever your legal needs, circumstances or objectives, Wright Medics are here to help.
