First Aid Training Courses delivered by Practicing Paramedics

Wright Medics offer First Aid Training, Emergency First Aid at Work and or bespoke courses delivered by our Practicing Paramedics On-Site, or at our Worksop HQ in North Nottinghamshire.

These take the form of a 1 Day or 3-4 Day Training Course.

1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training enables the successful learner to give emergency first aid to a colleague, visitor or member of the public who is injured or becomes ill while at work.

3-4 Day First Aid at work training includes the EFAW syllabus but also equips the learner to apply more advanced first aid techniques to a range of specific injuries and illnesses.

First aid training could quite possible be the most important course you’ve ever taken. In the event of an emergency, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to deliver potentially life-saving assistance. Although many undertake training as part of a workplace requirement, these skills are invaluable in everyday situations and everyone is encouraged to attend and benefit. There’s plenty of reasons and benefits for employers and employees to learn first aid and here at Wright Medics, we’re to help and provide professional first aid and emergency first aid training courses, qualifications and assessments for workplace based situations and scenarios. Whilst we deliver the nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid courses, we can also design and deliver bespoke courses tailored to individual needs, or the specific risks identified in your Risk Assessment.

On-site Medical Response is your Legal Requirement

Is it a legal requirement for employers to assess the work being undertaken by their employees and to ensure that they have an appropriate number of suitably qualified people to respond and deal with any given medical emergency.

This assessment should account of the type of injuries that may result from the activity being undertaken together with the proximity of local emergency services. Wright Medics are here to assist employers and employees with this assessment.

Certain employers may consider that they need to have individuals with the Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, others may consider that to meet their legal duties they will require First Aiders. Whatever your needs, circumstances or objectives, Wright Medics are here to help.

A Certified Emergency First Aider as part of your team is a valuable asset and will benefit you, your colleagues and your place of work. Your employee will have developed and demonstrated the necessary skills and knowledge to respond effectively to emergencies both in the workplace and beyond. If more people in your workforce qualify, there will be more people present to prevent accidents in the workplace. As much as it is a legal requirement that employees receive urgent treatment when injured or taken ill at work, it is also a must that your workplace has the relevant equipment, resources and personnel to deal with an emergency.
